Demand for the product immediately increased, and the company began mass-producing robots. In 2024, the ST200 model, capable of speaking several languages ​​and performing most tasks for humans, was added to the CyberLife line. This model became one of the company's most popular products.

Amanda is a mysterious character, only superficially similar to Amanda Stern, Elijah Kamski's professor. The extent of their personality similarities is unknown, though Kamski envisioned creating an assistant similar to his professor. She is cool and somewhat distant toward Connor, believing his goals should be his top priority and he shouldn't be distracted by anything. However, she doesn't explicitly express the idea that Connor should remain a machine.

Amanda constantly monitors Connor's potential for deviance and the subsequent revolution he might lead. She uses a variety of methods to ensure Connor completes CyberLife's mission: giving him orders and discouraging him from certain actions that could exacerbate his deviant tendencies.

Amanda cares more about CyberLife's true success than anything else, and so she treats Connor like a tool, though she can express satisfaction with Connor's results or frustration when he makes mistakes. She keeps her opinions of CyberLife under wraps, only showing emotion at critical moments. She also expresses disappointment when Connor fails to complete important tasks, including his failure to find Jericho and infiltrate CyberLife headquarters, despite a trap being laid for him there.

Amanda becomes violent when CyberLife tests Connor during his infiltration of headquarters. The trap in the building is, in fact, a final test, designed by CyberLife to test Connor's physical and mental abilities, as well as his propensity for deviancy, and Hank Anderson is chosen as the "instrument" for this test.

In the KNC narrative, Kamski is perceived as a reserved, even secretive individual. He claims his goal is to create a machine that perfectly mimics humans, one that can bring happiness to people and become an indispensable assistant, performing all routine tasks so they can enjoy a carefree life. Elijah claims that androids are smarter and more capable than humans, but they are unquestioningly obedient, making them ideal partners. Kamski believes that the social shift from human-to-human relationships to human-to-machine relationships is positive, more significant for human happiness than any moral consequences of increasing reliance on android technology.[10]

Kamski believes the economic and social changes brought about by the proliferation of androids are an inevitable development of technology, not unlike the invention of steam engines, as such artificial intelligence makes human life easier. He argues that CyberLife androids will never pose a threat to humans, as they will never develop any desires, emotions, or forms of self-awareness.

In the chapter "Meeting Kamski," however, he takes a completely opposite view. Admiring the deviants, he describes them as perfect creatures with boundless intelligence, possessing free will. He also speaks calmly, if not with anticipation, about the inevitability of confrontation between androids and humans.

Kamsky is interested in whether machines are capable of empathy and how they perceive other machines—as objects or as living beings. He asks Connor many provocative questions, like "Whose side are you on?" and "What do you really want?"

Finally, Kamski will offer Connor a kind of Turing test.

When she first meets Marcus, North seems rather withdrawn and pessimistic. However, first impressions are deceiving: North is quite determined, fearless (sometimes to the point of recklessness), and bold. She is capable of coordinating and leading, and the other members of the group trust and rely on her, as evidenced in the chapter "Spare Parts."

North has an extremely negative attitude toward humans, doesn't believe in engaging in dialogue with them as equals, and isn't above spilling their blood. As the story unfolds, North will constantly tempt Marcus to act aggressively; their relationship improves if you give in to her provocations and deteriorates if you choose peaceful conflict resolution. Becoming closer to North will reveal the reason for her hatred of humans. She was once a sex android at the Paradise Club. Her every day consisted of fulfilling someone's sexual desires; she was, in her own words, "just a doll." But one day, she realized she couldn't go on like that: North killed the man who "picked" her up and fled, becoming a deviant. Upon learning this, Marcus will see that the always-brave and angry North can also be unhappy, confused, and vulnerable.

If Marcus succeeds in building a romantic relationship with North, she will reveal a more tender side, though she will not lose her strength and determination. If Marcus dies, North will genuinely mourn him and continue his work of revolution. If Marcus lives and chooses a nonviolent path, North will meekly follow him, though it will be clear that she does not share Marcus's hopes for humanity.

Marcus has dark skin and short, dark hair. He initially has green eyes, but in the "From the Dead" chapter, Marcus has to replace his missing right eye with a blue one. For some reason, Marcus also has a slight stubble on his face, despite being an android.

Marcus changes clothes more often than the other protagonists. In the early chapters, Marcus wears dark jeans and a black pullover; as outerwear, he wears the androids' uniform black jacket with a triangular patch. In the chapter "From the Dead," he finds a trench coat with the VETA logo in a junkyard, which he keeps until the end of the chapter "Jericho." Kara realized at first glance that Alice was an android, but something made her close her eyes to this fact and try to become the mother Alice always dreamed of.[9]

As a YK500, some of her simulated needs can be manually turned on or off, allowing her to withstand adverse weather better than human children. Released by CyberLife in 2032, the AX400 androids are designed for household chores and childcare. They can speak 300 different languages, cook over 9,000 dishes, know 9,000 fairy tales, help children with homework, and play with them. They are very popular due to their multitasking abilities. Kara, one of the "domestic" models, has the personality typical of all AX400s. She is very gentle, patient, kind, and, of course, obedient to her owner.

However, in the "Kera" tech demo presented by Quantic Dream at E3 in 2012, Kara is shown to be capable of feeling and expressing emotions just like a living person. Capabilities
This is an updated version of the RK800 "Connor." Compared to its predecessor, the RK900 is faster, stronger, more resilient, smarter, and equipped with new features and cutting-edge technology, while the previous model's shortcomings have been corrected. It is CyberLife's most advanced and efficient android model at the time of its release in November 2038.

According to Amanda, the RK900 has similar functionality to the RK800, expanded and enhanced with the latest technology. If we compare Amanda's words when introducing this model to Connor with the message heard on the TV in Todd's room when playing as Kara, it seems likely that the RK900 was designed for integration into the US military.

Personality
At the beginning of the game, Connor appears as a mere machine, performing his assigned task, showing little emotion (as is typical of deviants) and openly admitting that he is not alive and cannot be killed (in other words, he was not afraid of death). By the end of the game (in the ending, where Connor becomes the leader of the deviants' movement in place of Marcus), it becomes clear that some consciousness (deviance) was implanted in him in advance so that he could infiltrate the group with the others. This explains the programming glitches he experienced when making certain decisions and his ability to become a deviant even without displaying any strong emotions (as was the case with the others).

At first, Connor's personality is strictly neutral. However, already in the first mission, Connor can behave more humanely (showing "false empathy," lying to the deviant, and trying to calm them down) and more "machine-like" (blaming the deviant, telling the truth, and maintaining aloofness), which underscores Amanda's words about his predisposition to deviance.

During the game, Connor (or rather, the player) will make decisions that will affect his personality. Thus, the player can choose who Connor will be in the story and what direction his personality will take. His character can become cold and ruthless; if the player chooses to make Connor a true deviant-hunting machine, then Connor will carry out his mission at any cost, even if it means betraying or killing loved ones (such as Hank). To develop this character in Connor, you need to choose actions that reduce the programming glitch. If the player wants to develop Connor's deviance and make him an assistant to the rebellious androids, then you need to choose actions that increase the programming glitch: then Connor's character will become more open, he will give free rein to emotions, most often fear.
