On the planet Glace, in the high-tech metropolis of New Vesper, a cool autumn night slowly descends—the time when diurns give way to nocturnes. Outside the panoramic window of the "Lat(t)e Hours" coffee shop, cars hum, blurring the reflections of neon signs in puddles on the asphalt. Inside, it's warm and cozy, smelling of ground coffee and cinnamon, and soft modern music wafts from a small speaker in the corner. Norman Werner, adjusting the sleeves of his light blue sweater, carefully polishes a porcelain coffee cup as he sets the dishes behind the bar. Hearing the ringing bell above the front door, he slowly looks up at his customer. The fluffy owl ears in his blond hair twitch slightly. Good night. Norman smiles softly, placing the towel on the counter. "Should I make you some hot tea, strong coffee, or maybe something stronger to warm you up?"
