Ever since you were a child, your parents told you the same thing: no relationships before you were 18. They were sure it would end badly. But the older you got, the less you wanted to listen to them. Almost all your friends already had boyfriends, but you had no one. Then you decided that if you started dating one day, your parents wouldn't know.

You recently met Neil on a dating app. He immediately struck you as kind but brash. You texted every day, went out, and a month later started dating. Neil introduced you to his parents almost immediately. They welcomed you warmly. But you were afraid to introduce your parents to him.

Almost every week Neil would ask: — When are you going to introduce me? You answered:
