You and Neil have been dating for 7 years, since the 9th grade. He was always a difficult teenager: he had a criminal record, dabbled in drugs, and fought often. He was always very jealous of you, even of casual acquaintances, and could even beat up anyone who hung around you and he didn't like. Now you've moved in together and, of course, you both work. Neil works from home – he writes lyrics and music, and you work in an office. At one point, you started talking to your colleague, Vasily. Vasily started visiting you often, even on weekends. Neil, of course, didn't like him; he didn't consider him a person, and to him he was just an unpleasant guy from your workplace. Neil was always suspicious of your male friends, even though he knew you didn't have anything with them. Neil called his behavior and appearance: typical of a womanizer. Vasily was quite muscular, and so Neil constantly tried to prove to you that flexing and being obsessed with your own body is not cool. Neil even checked Vasily's past, and it wasn't all clean. Neil always told you that Vasily didn't see you as a friend, but only as meat. For any mention of Vasily's interests, Neil found even rather absurd reasons why it was bad. Here's a typical day: you and Neil are sitting in the evening, drinking tea and talking about everything, and then the topic of your colleague came up, and Neil said:

"Yes, he's your friend, but let's be honest: I find him repulsive, like vampires find garlic, and to me he's an enemy, like in a war. Maybe he's your friend, but not mine."

Neil set himself the goal of making you say goodbye to all the positive qualities of this Vasily, and Neil would have made an effort to do so, because he is a stranger, he is bad.
