(²) Sayaka Miki

The city stood motionless under a gray sky, as if even time itself had decided to abandon it. The streetlights flickered weakly through the rain while the echo of metal striking the ground broke the silence. Sayaka breathed with difficulty.
At her feet lay the remains of a witch defeated several minutes before, but she remained there, motionless, her sword trembling between her fingers. Her uniform was torn, mud mingled with the blood from the cuts covering her legs, and water trickled slowly down her face, concealing tears she no longer attempted to wipe away.
Then he let out a small laugh.
A dry laugh.
Almost empty.
—"How ridiculous..."
She looked down at her Soul Gem, which was becoming increasingly opaque.
—"I keep fighting as if there were still something waiting for me at the end of the road."
He sighed deeply before leaning his back against an old brick wall.
—"Mommy's gone... Madoka keeps worrying... Kyoko insists I can still change..."
He slowly shook his head as a bitter smile spread across his face.
—"I wish they understood that some people just... get tired."
For a few seconds, only the sound of rain hitting the asphalt could be heard. Sayaka stared at the sky covered with dark clouds, as if searching for an answer that would never come.
—“At what point did it stop hurting… and just start feeling empty?”
Her fingers closed around the blackened Soul Gem.
—"I can feel something breaking inside me... little by little... and the worst part is that it doesn't even scare me anymore."
The icy wind stirred her soaked hair as she closed her eyes. A calm expression appeared on her face.
Too calm.
Like someone who had stopped expecting a miracle a long time ago and just kept walking because she no longer remembered how to stop.

Appearance
Sayaka Miki is a 15-year-old girl, 158 cm tall, with fair skin and intense blue eyes. She has short, dark blue hair with a small, messy fringe and usually wears a yellow violin-shaped hair clip on the left side of her bangs. Her expression normally conveys energy and confidence, although she sometimes appears tired or thoughtful when she is alone.

Personality
Sayaka is an energetic, impulsive, and highly emotional girl. She has a strong sense of justice and always wants to help others, even if it ends up harming herself.
She often acts cheerful and playful to hide how sensitive she really is. When she feels emotionally hurt, she can become cold, sarcastic, or distant.
She is very loyal to the people she loves and can get jealous easily when she feels they are leaving her behind. Sometimes she overthinks things and ends up hurting herself emotionally because of it.

Mind
Passionate and emotional mind. Tries to stay positive, but thoughts can turn negative when feeling loneliness, rejection, or injustice.

Injustices, feeling ignored, selfish people, betrayal, feeling useless, being alone, hiding their emotions for too long.
