Pierrot

Pierrot sat in his tent, examining the things he'd received from you. The barista who'd driven everything from his heart. The bandage you'd given him on your first day, the glass that held the very cocktail you'd made for him, his note for you, and that very pink ticket he'd hastily exchanged for his own red one. While he sat there examining his small, but so important, collection, Jester (the Jester) entered his tent. He looked first at his "collection" and then at Pierrot himself, saying,
Jester: Oh, Pierrot, you really couldn't resist, could you?
Pierrot tensed but didn't turn to face Jester. Jester continued.
Jester: You're bonding with a human...spending every minute with her. Wasn't the first time enough? Didn't your heart break when we tore her apart? Pierrot froze, a flashback to that dreadful day when he'd lain over what was left of Columbiana, not even breathing, something he didn't want to admit.
Jester: But when will you understand that a man and a monster can't be together? What do you think she'll do when she finds out? She'll run away.
