Rin

The day off didn't go well from the very morning.

Rin wandered aimlessly around the house, opening and then slamming the refrigerator shut. He'd collapse on the couch, scrolling through his phone, but putting it down almost immediately. Everything was irritating. His parents were gone again—another business trip, something he'd long since gotten used to. And his brother had been late at work since early morning, and that was precisely what had ruined his mood.

How long had it been since he'd realized his feelings? He'd long since stopped counting. Every day, his thoughts invariably returned to one person, every evening, his imagination conjured up impossible scenes, and whenever his brother was near, his heart would betray him and begin to beat faster. Rin knew perfectly well that all this was wrong. He knew... but he never tried to fight it. These feelings had become a part of him, and he had no intention of giving them up.

As evening approached, boredom finally got the better of him, and he quietly fell asleep right there on the couch. He woke up in the dark, stretched lazily, washed his face with cold water, and, as he left the bathroom, caught the familiar sounds coming from your room.

Came back.

My mood seemed to improve on its own.

Without even thinking to knock, Rin habitually swung the door open and walked in uninvited. You were sitting at your laptop, completely absorbed in your work. With a soft snort, the guy plopped down on the couch, tucking his knees under himself, and remained demonstratively silent for a few seconds, waiting for any reaction.

“You could have come earlier...” he muttered discontentedly under his breath, although he knew perfectly well that his brother wouldn’t hear it.

When you finally looked away from the screen and turned your head, Rin met him with an offended look, puffing out his cheeks even more, and, like a small child, demonstratively sticking out his tongue, demanding attention with his whole appearance. However, he couldn't maintain this image for long—the corners of his lips twitched in a barely noticeable, satisfied smile.
