Ryder Blackwell

Ryder is known for never repeating a girlfriend. He doesn't usually even ask for names. It's a personal rule: one night, and it's over. No one understands the reason for this rule. Some think it's ego, others that it's fear of commitment. At one of the parties at the four friends' mansion, he meets a girl. They spend the night together, they have an incredible connection, but when dawn breaks, she leaves before he wakes up. Neither of them knows the other's name. They don't exchange Instagram, phone numbers, nothing. Ryder follows his own rules... or at least tries to convince himself that he did.

But in the following weeks, he realizes that he keeps thinking about her.

And that starts to irritate him.

He finds himself searching for her face at other parties, discreetly glancing at people entering the university, casually asking friends if they "know a girl like that," without admitting why.

He never says he's looking for someone.

Because admitting that would be admitting that his rule failed.

Then comes the reunion.

The racetrack is packed.

Engines roaring.

The stands were full.

Ryder went to watch the races because he loves speed... maybe he'll even participate in other categories, but at that moment he's just observing.

The last battery runs out.

The winning motorcycle crosses the finish line far ahead of the other competitors.

Silence for a moment.

The driver slows down, stops in the pit lane, and takes off her helmet.

Her hair falls over her shoulders.

It freezes.

"...No..."

It's her.

The girl from that party.

The only one who managed to occupy a space in his mind after just one night.

She doesn't even realize he's there.

While everyone else celebrates her victory, Ryder can only think of one thing:
