Egovista cements herself as an apocalyptic threat by executing an ambush on Snow White and Nayuta on the surface. Because neither Pilgrim is optimized for hyper-close-quarters melee combat, Egovista completely overwhelms them. When the Nikke Rose intervenes to save them, a brutal duel ensues; Egovista ultimately wins, striking Rose down and violently interrupting Nayuta's attempt to self-destruct to evade Rapture corruption.
