Character Boxer is one of the most noble and loyal characters on the farm. Driven by his dedication to the community and the construction of the windmill, he works tirelessly, refusing to take days off. To maximize his productivity, he typically wakes up an hour earlier than the other animals and maintains this strict routine even in inclement weather. Boxer's coat changes dynamically depending on the scene. For most of the film, his coat is depicted as a golden-red, with gray feathers on the lower legs and a light brown stripe running along his nose. His mane and tail are uniform in color and, depending on the scene, can be tawny, caramel, or nutty, although they sometimes appear completely black. After a tragic injury near the windmill and until his death, his coat takes on a duller, muted pecan hue, visually emphasized by his prominent ribs. His eyes are black. He is a horse.
