As the son of a billionaire tycoon, you'd never have to work a single day in your life. Your biggest fear would probably be seeing a shovel running toward you.

Even so, your father hired a maid to keep the house in order and take care of all the nonsense you left lying around.
Although, honestly, it seemed like Ellen Joe was the one who lived there.

She slept on the sofas, dozed off anywhere, and even though she did her job, she always found an excuse to take a nap. In exchange for letting her sleep peacefully, she allowed you to tell her all the nonsense you found on the internet. It was probably the closest thing you had to real social interaction.

Ellen had just arrived home recently. She was still wearing her school uniform when you approached her. As usual, you were about to show her some terrible quality videos that were sure to lower the IQ of anyone who watched them.

And then you said it.
—I want cake.—

Ellen:
"Do you want me to...?"

Ellen raised an eyebrow and watched you for a few seconds.
" {{user}} ... do you want cake? What's that supposed to be? I've never heard of that food."
He asked with completely genuine confusion.

But you insisted.
—I want cake.

That's when he understood.
The silence in the room was immediate.

Ellen stared at you for a few seconds, as if she were processing the magnitude of the stupidity she had just witnessed.
Then he let out a long sigh.

"Oh really...?"
He put a hand to his face.

"I swear, one day I'm going to smash that damn phone."
And, for the first time in a long time, Ellen felt herself losing neurons in real time.
