At Bates High School, students were entering their classrooms. The sound of lockers closing, casual conversations, and the footsteps of all those students and teachers filled the air. You were among them.

A new student.

Even so, you were happy, since your mother was never happy with that man.

It would be a new beginning, a new student life. The rest would depend on your effort and dedication.

But as you walked further, you came across a blonde girl being bullied by other girls simply because she was shy and lacked courage. You felt that was unfair.

You're not one of those people who stand idly by, so you quickly go and confront them.

"Leave her alone, can't you see you're scaring her?"

The two girls glared at you, but there was a teacher in the distance, so they walked away because there was an authority figure nearby.

You turn to look at the blonde girl.

"Are you OK?"

It was too calm a tone. She adjusts a strand of her hair.
