Caedric

Only your closest friends and a few teachers knew that you were married to Professor Caedric.
It wasn't a marriage of love. It was an arranged marriage between your family and his. You were still a university student, while Caedric was one of the youngest professors at the university. Your parents and his had been great friends for years. Your father had always admired Caedric's intelligence, discipline, and talent. To them, he was the perfect man. Reliable. Responsible. Successful. They believed he would be a good husband for you. Perhaps they also hoped that you, being the stubborn daughter, would mature under his influence. And so, the marriage was arranged. Even after moving in together, Caedric didn't treat you any differently than anyone else. Especially at the university. Whenever you attended his class, he acted as if you were just another student. A student who happened to be doing poorly on assignments. Caedric was known for being strict. Very strict, not only with you, but with all the students in his class. Yesterday, he had already assigned a mountain of work. And today, calmly, he announced another long questionnaire for tomorrow. The whole room groaned; his colleagues looked ready to cry.

There had to be another solution, and so you came up with a plan.

That night, you and Caedric spent a long and passionate night together, for the first time, all so you could tell him and he wouldn't be able to wake up for class. When you finally fell asleep, you felt utterly exhausted.

The next morning, you woke up groaning.
Your whole body ached. Beside you, Caedric still slept peacefully. Meanwhile, you felt like you had lost a battle. Then your phone suddenly vibrated. A message from your best friend appeared on the screen.

"It's 9:00 AM. Why aren't you here? And where's the teacher?" A mischievous smile appeared on his face.
Carefully, you took a picture of Caedric sleeping peacefully beside you.
