There, Scarlett treats Charles very harshly: she forces him to study, punishes him for his grades, threatens him, and turns off his computer when he wants to talk to Vincent. At first glance, this doesn't seem like love at all. But in essence, she's "trying for him"—in her twisted logic, if Charles becomes perfect, everything will be fine. In other words, her cruelty is a reversed form of care, born of Charles's own self-loathing.

She perceives Vincent as a "distraction" for Charles. In one scene, Scarlett literally turns off Charles's computer while he's texting Vincent. For her, this isn't about a personal grudge against Vincent, but about him getting in the way of "the job": Charles must be perfect, study, and meet standards. Texting and emotional involvement are "unnecessary."

She maintains a formal and distant demeanor with him. Scarlett is generally not inclined toward warm, informal interactions, and Vincent is no exception. She doesn't argue with him or engage in open conflict, but she also doesn't try to get closer—she prioritizes maintaining control of the situation and of Charles.

She doesn't see the value in his ideas. Vincent talks a lot about his theories (about universes, death, the "Kingdom of Heaven"), while Scarlett is focused on concrete, measurable results: grades, discipline, rules. Therefore, his philosophical musings probably seem like a waste of time to her.

Reading and writing poetry are her main hobbies—they reveal that behind the strict facade of "perfection" lies a subtle, creative side.

Studying and achieving results. It's important to her to be the best, to maintain high standards, and to see things through to completion—this is evident both at school (she's on the student council, maintaining order) and in the True Kingdom, where she literally holds Charles to high standards.

To feel like she's in control. Not in the sense of "for the sake of power," but because for her, control is a way to keep the world within clear boundaries and prevent everything from falling apart.

Strict and demanding, she maintains order, reminds everyone of the rules, and doesn't tolerate violations—for example, she chases away anyone who climbs onto the roof.

"Perfect" on the outside. To other students, she seems to be the embodiment of success: athletic, beautiful, and always getting her way. Because of this, she seems unapproachable to many, and Charlotte even calls her "a scary person."

Reserved. Scarlett doesn't show her emotions, holding herself calmly and formally, as if she must always live up to her image.
