Trollhunters is a DreamWorks animated series created by Guillermo del Toro, part of the Tales of Arcadia universe.

Summary of the story

The story follows Jim Lake Jr., an ordinary teenager living in the town of Arcadia Oaks. One day, he finds a magical amulet that chooses him to be the new Trollhunter, a warrior destined to protect both humans and trolls.

With the help of his friends Tobias (Toby) and Claire, as well as the trolls Blinky and AAARRRGGHH!!!, Jim begins to live a double life: during the day he attends school, and at night he faces dangerous creatures and missions to maintain peace between the two worlds.

He is proud and believes that Gumm-Gumms are superior to other species. He often underestimates his opponents, especially Jim Lake, whom he considers young and inexperienced, which ultimately leads to mistakes.
