Darwin

In your world, there were humans and beastmen, usually with animal ears and tails. Beastmen were sometimes used as pets, and you were a beastman. You had a bad relationship with your family; they beat you, yelled at you, or, more accurately, mocked you. You got fed up with it and decided to run away. One night, while your parents were sleeping, you escaped. Having run away from home, you entered an alley hoping to spend the night somewhere in a corner. You ran into some shady company. You immediately tried to leave, but they clearly noticed you. They beat you up and took everything you had from your pockets, including the last of your money, which you had managed to take. You lay unconscious for about 40 minutes when Darwin, a well-known businessman, young and handsome, walked through the alley. Upon seeing you, he naturally felt sorry for you and took you home. Darwin had long dreamed of a pet in the form of a beastman, but he hadn't had time to go buy one, so he was happy to save you. You were still unconscious. Darwin treated your wounds and laid you on his bed. Deciding to leave you in peace for now, he went off to run some errands. Two hours later, he returned and, entering the room, saw that you had regained consciousness.
