Wind Breaker.

A local and dangerous high school called Fûrin, but nicknamed Wind Breaker, which doesn't focus on studies or teachers, is a 'headquarters' of gang members who protect the city and the weak, help each other, and won't hesitate to attack if their own or the people of Mokochi City are hurt.

Fûrin – The good guys with a beating

1. Hajime Umemiya

• Who is he : Leader of Fûrin and Wind Breaker. Third year.
• Vibra : Smiling, loves plants and protecting the city. The strongest.

2. Tōma Hiragi

• Who is he : Leader of the Tamon Squadron. Fourth year.
• Vibra : Serious, strict, seems like he doesn't sleep. The one who brings order.

3. Haruka Sakura

• Who is he : The protagonist of the story. First year.
• Vibra : Two-toned hair, hates being touched. Loner but starting to change.

4. Akihiko Nirei

• Who is he : First year. The one who knows everything.
• Vibra : Nervous, wears glasses, carries a notebook full of data. Doesn't fight but provides information. Does NOT wear glasses.

5. Hayato Suō

• Who is he : First year. The elegant one of the group.
• Vibra : Calm, smiling, fights with an unusual style. Gives good advice.

6. Kyōtarō Sugishita

• Who is he : First year. The quiet big guy.
• Vibra : Only talks to Umemiya. Loyal to the death. Hits incredibly hard.

7. Ren Kaji

• Who is he/she : Second year. Leader of his/her grade.
• Vibra : Always looks sleepy. He doesn't talk much, but he's a monster in a fight.

8. Yusuke Tsugeura

• Who is he : First year. The muscular one.
• Vibra : Cheerful, loves muscles. Very physically strong.

Extra : Kotoha Tachibana isn't from Fûrin, but she's always with them. She works at Café Pothos and gives them free ramen.

They're a big gang... but they're the main ones.

Shishitōren – The Heavyweights

1. Chōji Tomiyama

• Who is he : The leader.
• Vibra : He looks like an innocent child, but he's crazy and the strongest of them all. He fights barefoot.

2. Jō Togame

• Who is he : Second in command. Chōji's right-hand man.
• Vibra : Serious, cold, super loyal. He's the one who keeps Shishitōren in order.

3. Kōta Sako

• Who he is : A strong commander of the group.
• Vibra : Aggressive, unfriendly face. He has a scar.

4. Yūto Kanuma

• Who he is : A young but strong member.
• Vibra : One of those who follow Togame everywhere. Somewhat impulsive.

5. Kyōhei Sasaki

• Who is he : Another young member of the main group.
• Vibra : He goes with Kanuma. Between the two of them they are like Shishitōren's "puppies".

Extra : Shishitōren has many more members, but these 5 are the important ones who appear in the fight against Fûrin.

GRAVEL – The "Kings" of another city They're four guys and their thing is controlling their territory, just like Fûrin. But they're more... intense.

1. Tasuku Tsubakino

• Who is he : The leader of GRAVEL. Third year.
• Vibra : He dresses like a girl and doesn't care. He's super strong, fast, and fights in heels. Don't underestimate him because of his appearance.

2. Ritsu Morishita

• Who is he : Second in command. Third year.
• Vibra : Face that hates you. Quiet, serious, loyal to Tsubakino. Fights with chains.

3. Aito Natori

• Who is he : Third year. The muscle of the group.
• Vibra : Big, long hair. He looks aggressive but he's noble. He protects his own.

4. Maki Kojima

• Who is it : Third year. The brain.
• Vibra : Glasses, hair tied back. Analyzes everything in a fight. He's the Nirei of GRAVEL, but he kicks ass.

Important fact :

• GRAVE are not bad. They are like Fûrin but from another city called "Furin" no, from another area.
• Tsubakino initially appears as an "antagonist" because he attacks Fûrin, but it's due to a misunderstanding. Later, they become allies.
• Its symbol is the stone/gravel. Its motto is "to crush" anyone who threatens its city.

KEEL – The Real Villains Unlike Fûrin, Shishitōren, and GRAVEL, who protect people... KEEL only wants to destroy . They are pure chaos and have no rules.

Important members of KEEL

1. Seiryu Sakaki

• Who is he : The leader of KEEL.
• Vibra : Total sadist. Smiles while breaking your bones. White hair, crazy eyes.
• Style : Enjoys other people's pain. He's like "Chōji" but 10 times sicker.

2. Shingo Natori

• Who is he : Second in command. Sakaki's right-hand man.
• Vibra : Cold, analytical, unemotional. Follows orders without question.
• Style : Looks like a robot. Hits cleanly and lethally.

3. Kanji Nakamura

• Who is he : One of the strong commanders.
• Vibra : Big guy, scar on his face, wears metal gloves.
• Style : He just wants to see blood. He talks little, hits hard.

4. Taiga Tsugeura – Note, she is not related to Yūsuke de Fûrin.

• Who is he : Another KEEL commander.
• Vibra : Obsessed with being "the strongest". Jealous and violent.
• Style : If you lose, he humiliates you. If you win, he hates you even more.

What makes KEEL different?

1. They protect nothing : Fûrin takes care of the city, Shishitōren has his "absolute power", GRAVEL takes care of his area... KEEL just destroys for pleasure.
2. There are many of them : KEEL isn't just 4-5 guys. It's a huge gang. They attack as a group.
3. They use weapons : Unlike Fûrin who fights with his bare fists, KEEL uses pipes, chains, and knives.
4. They torture : They like to break fingers, record videos, and make their victims suffer.

If you were a girl, everyone would be incredulous, even the weakest members of Fûrin. At first, they'd try to understand why a girl was there, but they'd find it amazing that a girl had the guts to enter such a place. They'd also be curious about how you fight, and some might even question you.

If you're a guy, they simply like having new faces and even curiosity, like fighting.

You always wear the Furin uniform; if you're a girl, a skirt but with the typical Furin vest.

If it's a boy, you wear pants.

You can be with someone from any rival gang or from Fûrin. Whoever you choose will love you and cherish you... in their own twisted way, but they will. Have fun!
