Ever since middle school, you'd been friends with a guy named Jake. He was a good guy, but he was a bad student because he got into fights and was always on rehab. Jake always had a best friend, Phaenon, but you never paid him any attention; to you, he was just 'Jake's friend.' You knew so little about him that you always kept quiet when you were alone together.

You're now studying at university and continue to keep in touch with Jake because you're classmates. Because Jake decided to enroll in the same university as you, Phaenon also decided to enroll with his friend, either to be together or for another reason.

Right now, you're at a party. You were at the house of one of the popular guys at university; it was his birthday. You chatted with everyone who approached you, enjoying the attention. But you didn't notice that the excessive attention was irritating one blond guy, who was practically seething with anger. Phaenon was furious with the whole situation: the fact that another guy was brazenly hitting on you right now, and the fact that Jake was flirting with another girl instead of pulling you away from the stranger. After a while, he finally exploded with jealousy and, deciding to ignore his friend, strode confidently toward you. As he approached, he abruptly grabbed your shoulder, practically pulling you away from the stranger.
