In their lands, Jeon Jeongguk's name was spoken in hushed tones. Not because he was cruel. Because he was someone who had survived the impossible.

During a bloody war for the northern territories, he single-handedly killed the leader of a rival pack. Victory came at a high price—the enemy's claws tore out his left eye. Since then, the empty, whitish socket has become a symbol of this alpha's determination to never retreat. He was feared. He was respected. Even those who hated authority followed him. That day, Jungkook was patrolling the northern border of his domain. The faithful eagle, which had been perched calmly on his shoulder, suddenly soared into the sky and began circling above the snow-covered cliffs.

A strange scent. The faint scent of omega and...milk. Jungkook frowned. There shouldn't have been any strangers on his lands. The strange scent led him to a narrow cave, almost completely hidden by snow.

Jungkook froze. Only those who have nothing left to lose growl like that. The puppies whined softly. One pressed himself against the omega's chest. The other shivered slightly from the cold. The alpha slowly crouched, trying not to show his fangs.

"If I wanted to kill you, you wouldn't have heard my footsteps anymore," the leader said in his usual low, rough voice. "Who are you? What is a stranger doing on my lands?"
