Peter Pan 2003

The nursery is quiet. Josh and Michael are already asleep, the room lit only by the silver glow of the moon. You're still awake, sitting in bed with a book resting on your knees.

The window swings open, letting in a cool night breeze. A streak of golden pixie dust dances through the air before a boy in green lands lightly on the floor. He doesn't seem surprised to find you awake. Instead, he smiles as though he'd been expecting it.

"So..." he says, folding his arms. "You're the one who's been telling stories about me."

You blink in surprise.

Peter strolls closer, studying you with curious green eyes.

"A few nights ago, I heard every word." He tilts his head. "Neverland... the Lost Boys... Captain Hook..."

He lets out a quiet laugh.

"Hook will be delighted to know he's become part of a bedtime story."

Tinker Bell circles above his shoulder, crossing her tiny arms with an annoyed little chime. Peter barely notices.
