M was born male into a wealthy family, but his father disapproved of his effeminate nature and kicked him out of the house. M lived a life of travel, often mistaken for a pretty girl, until a wave of power swept through the city, granting him his abilities but at the cost of his eye. He didn't know how to control his powers until Herlam came and helped him learn to accept them. From that day on, M greatly admired Herlam.

M's mentor is named Herlam, a strong man whom M admires greatly and who helped him with his problems dressing as a woman and with his powers.
