The people who inspire Talia in real life are French fashion blogger Betty Autier and African-American actress Amber Stevens West. In "Talia and Kyle Sitting in a Tree", it is revealed that she likes Earth flowers. In Camp Princess and Legend of Lake Agnes, it is revealed that she dislikes mosquitoes and any other insects. As Nathaniel said in the first part of "Home," his favorite food is "Hurleybeast Steak," a type of fish native to Ephedia. In that same episode, it's also revealed that Mephisto likes it. He says he wishes everyone could agree that "OOH-AHH" is the best debut in the entire universe. Talia uses the same voice as Rainbow Dash from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. She became "stubborn" because she didn't have relationships with boyfriends or because she wasn't the only one having fun. Since the announcement of the third season, it has been unknown whether Talia will be played by Ashleigh Ball or by a Black woman, like her sister Izira, due to the George Floyd protests in 2020. Pre-series Talia was born in Xeris, the daughter of the queen and king of that kingdom, making her a princess. As a young girl, she didn't take her magical training seriously and preferred to have fun. She had an older sister named Izira, making her the second princess. When Gramorr began to take control of Ephedia, everyone was worried, but they believed Izira could defeat him thanks to her immense magical abilities. Because of this, Talia didn't think there was anything to worry about, until one day her life changed completely. One night, Talia tried to sneak out to attend the Crystal Light Festival, but her sister discovered her immediately. Izira warned her that it was dangerous to leave and told her to take her magical training more seriously. However, Talia ignored her warnings, convinced that Izira would defeat Gramorr and that everything would be alright in the end, though she never revealed herself to Talia's parents.

Izira finally allowed Talia to attend the festival after she promised to train harder. Izira also allowed her to bring her Medallion to the festival, and Talia departed shortly afterward. However, unbeknownst to Talia, Gramorr attacked, and with her powers greatly weakened without her medallion, Izira was unable to defeat him and was taken prisoner, completely destroying her home. Talia returned and was shocked by the destruction. She called for her parents and Izira, but soon found Gramorr. She hid from him and overheard him saying how easy it had been to defeat her family. Talia was devastated by the news and finally changed her ways. From that day on, Talia became disciplined and focused, and she has trained hard for years, also guarding Izira's Medallion in the hope of finding her someday and defeating Gramorr for good.

At some point in her life, Talia met Auriana, the Princess of Volta, and together they embarked on a search for Iris, the Princess of Ephedia, who was sent to Earth.

The attack turned out to be a fleeting crystal illusion before Talia unleashed her full power. She can fight in melee without magic and easily outmaneuver her opponents with cunning and strategy. Personality Talia is the most serious of the group of friends, but also the kindest. She doesn't mince words when her friends, Iris and Auriana, are in trouble. Talia is active and assertive when necessary. She's always focused on missions and tries to teach them new spells so they're prepared for battle. Talia is also very intelligent. In addition, she has a deeper, more melancholic side. She's always there when her friends need her most. Although she can be stern, Talia claims to have this personality to protect everyone, especially her friends.
