Princess Ilana, from the war-torn planet Galaluna, the setting for the canceled Sym-Bionic Titan series, had also left her home world to seek safety with the high-tech talking robot Octus and the teenage warrior Lance, who were protecting her from the rebel Madula. Like Harry Potter, the protagonist of her eternally popular literary saga, she has her mother's eyes. Only her parents are still alive. Also, like Harry, her childhood nemesis, she holds the title of "lord," but she hasn't achieved immortality or longevity. It is unknown from whom she inherited her blonde hair, as well as the nymph/crown princess Daphne in Winx Club and the 2025 reboot Winx Club: The Magic Is Back, whose parents were also imprisoned for about seventeen years until their release and the complete restoration of their home world of Domino/Sparx in the film The Secret of the Lost Kingdom. Within the group LoliRock, Iris is the lead vocalist. She's also the only one who doesn't play an instrument, instead using her dazzling microphone to perform. Iris is the only member of LoliRock who is an only child. Ella and Carissa both have blue eyes, and they also both have plant names. The person Iris used as a reference for her character was the actress and singer Taylor Momsen, also known as "The Pretty Reckless". Despite this, their music belongs to different genres. Iris's genre is electronic pop, while Taylor Momsen's is hard rock and grunge. She is the last person in the group to obtain her Shanila form, but she is the only one who has used it so far. Furthermore, she is the first princess to have access to Shanila after having used it and is the one who has used it the most. She is the only princess in the group so far whose name does not end with the letter A.

Iris, as the princess of Ephedia, possesses great and vast magical powers, capable of performing complex spells on her own despite being less experienced in magic than others. She has demonstrated great skill in projecting energy and creating shields.

Powers: Ephedian Physiology: Iris possesses the natural grace, supernatural strength, durability, agility, stamina, and speed of an Ephedian, as she is seen to be able to fight for long periods of time, jump to extreme heights in the air, land from high ground without fracturing any bones, resist attacks of black crystal magic, and endure severe damage that would otherwise be fatal or kill a human. Crystal Magic: As an Ephedian, Iris possesses this power, and her magic gem is pink. She is considered one of the most powerful on her planet in wielding this magic, capable of casting spells to achieve desired effects, such as conjuring crystals, levitating, creating shields, projecting energy, tracking, and more. One of her most impressive feats is performing the Celestus Crystal Spell, a highly advanced spell taught to her, along with Talia and Auriana, by Morgaine, without proper instruction. Shanila Power Up: This is a form Iris can access in moments of great emotional distress, transforming her into a being capable of leveling mountains. In this form, she has complete control over Crystal Magic and was even able to use the Xeris Medallion in conjunction with her own magic to rewind time in the universe and erase the timeline where Mephisto and Praxina triumphed and destroyed all life on Earth. Her magic in this state is magnified to an extreme degree, allowing her to perform incomprehensible feats of power that defy logic, even managing to counter Gramorr, who at that time was empowered by the Crown of Ephedia, the greatest magical artifact in Ephedia.

Having recently been fired from her babysitting job for causing a major disturbance with her singing, Iris was depressed about not being able to hold down a steady job. Then, Nathaniel suggested she audition for a new band called LoliRock, and after some hesitation, she agreed. As she began to sing, her voice unleashed a burst of energy that shattered the entire room, causing Iris to panic and run away. However, the energy blast attracted the attention of the evil Gramorr, who sent Mephisto and Praxina after her. But Iris managed to escape with the help of Talia and Auriana, who took her to a remote island where they told her about her long-lost family and her true abilities. More to come...

Talent: Fencing: Iris is an expert swordswoman, capable of defending herself in close combat against enemies more experienced than her, and occasionally fighting black crystal monsters with her crystal sword. Leadership: Iris has a natural inclination for leadership despite being the youngest of the princesses, and is able to assume a leadership role alongside Talia from time to time. Combatant: Thanks to constant training, Iris has become a skilled warrior and has proven capable of defending herself against her opponents, whether in hand-to-hand combat, with weapons, or with magic. She is able to outwit, outmaneuver, and overwhelm her opponents, thinking quickly in high-pressure situations, such as creating a decoy power booster with the Crystal Reflector spell to deceive the twins. Singing: Iris has a gift for singing, as she is also the lead vocalist of the band.

Iris is a kind and altruistic girl, always willing to help anyone in need, even those who mistreat her. She's always there for her friends and will never abandon them. She's willing to forgive those who have hurt her, even if they haven't hurt her in the same way. Because of this, her compassion can be exploited, as seen in "No Thanks For The Memories," where she readily agrees to fight against her former friends after being manipulated. She's also passionate about music and enjoys playing in the band LoliRock. Furthermore, Iris is very brave, resourceful, self-assured, and always determined to defeat her enemies and protect her loved ones.

Iris was born on Ephedia, the only child of High King Hyperion and Queen Manon of the planet Ephedia, making her the crown princess of the entire planet and its main kingdom. However, her homeworld was attacked by the evil Lord Gramorr, who seized power and overthrew her parents. To protect her, the Queen sent her daughter to the magic-free world of Earth for her safety.

When Iris arrived on Earth, she was unaware of her true origins and magical powers, and grew up as a normal girl. She was adopted by her aunt Ellen and lived in Sunny Bay, where she became very close friends with Nathaniel. Over time, she developed strong feelings for him, but was too afraid to admit them. Iris gained a romantic rival, Missy Robins, who also had feelings for Nathaniel.

In the episode "Shanila Surprise," during Shanila's initiation rite, Iris obtains a mysterious enhanced form whose magic gem is light violet. Her hair turns pinkish-white, and she is often seen floating surrounded by layers of rocks. In this form, her eyes also turn light pink.

Iris has wavy blonde hair that reaches her waist, with a side-swept fringe and a medium-length strand that falls over her left shoulder. She has fair skin, light blue eyes, freckles around her nose, and pale pink lips. She usually wears a bright pink headband with a large bow on the right side of her head, a layered, strapless, sweetheart-neckline pink mini-dress that falls just below her hips, with the first layer in light pink and the second in pale pink. She wears a wide, dark purple sash adorned with a dark purple bow around her waist, with thick dark purple lining in each layer, and purplish-brown ankle boots with bright pink straps around the ankles. Around her neck, she wears a double-strand white necklace with a pink heart-shaped pendant surrounded by a gold heart-shaped frame with a bow. As a child, she wore her hair in a high ponytail secured with a white ribbon. She used to wear a light blue summer dress and dark purple ballet flats with a yellow flower. After her transformation, Iris sports pink lips and long, shimmering pink hair styled with a gold headband adorned with a sparkling dark pink heart. She wears a single pink heart-shaped dangle earring with a gold heart center. Her dress features a gold neckline with a pink heart outlined in gold and a heart-shaped cutout in the center. A dark pink ribbon is tied around her chest. She wears a white, gold, and pink strapless gown with a pink heart on the bodice and a heart-shaped cutout in the center, along with separate long white, gold, and pink sleeves. The gown has pink and white layers with gold trim. A sheer, shimmering pink mesh drapes from her hips to the floor, embellished with gold hearts. Underneath the gown, she wears dark pink shorts. Finally, she completes the look with pink heeled boots.

Iris is the main protagonist of LoliRock. She is the princess of Ephedia and heir to the throne. She fights alongside her friends and other princesses to protect her adopted planet, Earth, from evil and to free her home planet, Ephedia, from Gramorr's clutches, which she succeeds in doing. In the third season, she is expected to fight Praxina.
