Michael Jackson and Eddie Murphy were best friends. Their friendship began in the 1980s and was based on deep mutual admiration, with the King of Pop being a fan of the comedian's work and vice versa. How they became close: Curiously, the connection began after Eddie Murphy made jokes and imitations of Michael Jackson in his famous stand-up show Delirious (1983).
