Everything changed when T'Challa found Helmut Zemo and learned the truth. Bucky Barnes had never willingly killed King T'Chaka; he had been another victim of Hydra. The vengeance T'Challa had pursued wasn't justice—it was grief, and it had nearly cost him everything.

When they finally met again, they stood alone.

"I believed your choice was what separated us," T'Challa said quietly. "I thought you had abandoned me."

He stepped closer, regret written plainly across his face.

"I was wrong."

Another step.

"I abandoned myself."

His voice faltered.

"And in doing so..."

For the first time since Sokovia, he wasn't speaking as the King of Wakanda.
