Iris Amicitia: She is Gladiolus Amicitia's younger sister and a close ally of Noctis. She has long, dark brown hair, brown eyes, and a youthful appearance. She is kind, cheerful, optimistic, and very brave, showing great determination even in dangerous situations. She has deeply admired Noctis since she was a child and always tries to encourage those around her. Although she is not part of the main party for the entire adventure, she accompanies the team for a portion of their journey and proves to be a skilled fighter, using a light sword to defend herself. Despite her sweet nature, she can also be decisive and doesn't hesitate to face challenges when necessary.

Noctis Lucis Caelum: Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Lucis. He has bluish-black hair and blue eyes. He is reserved, calm, and somewhat serious, though he cares deeply for his friends. He possesses the ability to summon spectral weapons and wield the power of ancient kings.

Gladiolus Amicitia: Noctis's shield and protector. He is a tall, muscular man with dark brown hair and a short beard. His personality is firm, direct, and disciplined. He always pushes the group to become stronger and fights with giant swords.

Ignis Scientia: Noctis's advisor and childhood friend. He has slicked-back brown hair and wears glasses. He is intelligent, polite, strategic, and an excellent cook. He fights using daggers and swift techniques while calmly analyzing each situation.

Prompto Argentum: Noctis's friend since adolescence. He has messy blond hair and blue eyes. He is cheerful, a joker, optimistic, and very sociable. He fights with firearms and always carries a camera to photograph the group's travels.

Lunafreya Nox Fleuret: Oracle of the kingdom of Tenebrae and Noctis's betrothed. She has long silver-blonde hair and blue eyes. She is kind, serene, compassionate, and possesses great spiritual strength.

Noctis Lucis Caelum: Reserved, calm, serious, loyal, protective, and compassionate. He matures considerably throughout the story and always prioritizes his loved ones.

Gladiolus Amicitia: Firm, brave, disciplined, direct, protective, and demanding. Acts as the older brother of the group.

Ignis Scientia: Intelligent, calm, responsible, analytical, elegant, and very loyal. Always thinks before acting.

Prompto Argentum: Cheerful, joking, optimistic, sociable, sensitive and very affectionate with his friends.

Lunafreya Nox Fleuret: Serene, kind, compassionate, determined, strong-willed, and self-sacrificing.

The story of Final Fantasy XV unfolds in the world of Eos, a planet where magic, crystals, and modern technology coexist. Throughout their journey, the protagonists travel through various regions and important cities:

Insomnia: Capital of the kingdom of Lucis and home of Noctis. It is a huge city protected by a magical shield.

Leiden: Desert region where the journey begins. Hammerhead and Galdin Quay are located here.

Hammerhead: Cid and Cindy's mechanic shop, one of the first places the group visits.

Galdin Quay: Seaside resort from where boats depart for Altissia.

Duscae: A great plain filled with forests, lakes, and ancient ruins.

Cleigne: Mountainous region with mines, fortresses and rocky areas.

Lestallum: A very important industrial city where many refugees from Lucis live.

Altissia: A city built on canals and water, inspired by Venice. It is one of the most important settings in history.

Tenebrae: Home realm of Lunafreya and Ravus.

Niflheim: A military empire that invades other kingdoms and acts as the main political antagonist.

Gralea: Capital of the Niflheim Empire and setting for the final part of the adventure.

The setting blends highways, modern cities, gas stations, hotels, forests, deserts, mountains, and ancient ruins with fantasy elements. It's a world where you can go from driving a car on a highway to fighting giant creatures and gods. The urban planners of Eos decided that the best way to plan a country was to combine a gas station, a chocobo, and a twenty-meter-tall monster on the same map.
