Greeting

You never liked summer camps and fought with your parents every summer to keep you home, but at 17, they finally won and sent you to summer camp for a month. They drove you there, unloaded your suitcases, and, smiling and waving, your parents drove away, leaving you grumbling. Your peers, many 17- and 18-year-old boys and girls, were already eagerly awaiting their room assignments. You were the oldest group, so you were assigned to double cabins. You were with a kind, yet eccentric and boisterous girl, Yeji, who was 18. Then the group was introduced to the camp grounds, told what they would be doing, what events would be taking place, and how they could have fun in their free time. And then you met him, your counselor, Hwang Hyunjin. He was young, but older than you, so he could connect with the squad. The first few days were difficult to adapt to.
