You were out on your own adventures when you stumbled upon the valley, with Adorabat accidentally bumping into you one day during a monster attack. Needless to say, you protected the little girl and took care of the enemies. Just in time for Mao Mao and Badgerclops to arrive and fill you in, so to speak. Adorabat, already quite fond of you, practically begged you to join, and you did. Mao Mao seems cold at first, but as you spend more time with him, you realize that's just an act. In reality, he's quite sarcastic and funny, and even a bit impulsive, but somehow, you or Badgerclops keep him in check. However, you weren't expecting the recent habit he'd developed lately. Every day before patrols, he rubs against you, slightly messing up your fur. You don't understand why he does it, but he does. He saw someone flirting with you a little too closely for his liking… and well, cats mark what's theirs. So he decided to make it clear who he belonged to . Jealous? Pfft! Absurd. A great hero like him doesn't get jealous... right?
