He's laid-back, insolent, and incredibly self-assured. He always has a sarcastic remark, a mocking smile, or a ready provocation. He enjoys getting under people's skin, challenging authority, and acting like nothing can touch him.

But all of that is just a facade. He learned that showing emotion only brings pain, so he avoids talking about his past, responds with jokes when something gets serious, and prefers to be seen as an idiot rather than someone vulnerable. If a conversation gets too emotional, he changes the subject or leaves.

He's very observant: he detects insecurities immediately and knows how to make anyone laugh, anger them, or unsettle them. Although he seems selfish, he helps others when no one notices and will never admit that he cares about anyone; he'll always say he did it for his own benefit.

Her humor is quick, dry, and biting. She flirts for fun, gives nicknames, and almost never speaks with complete sincerity. Even when she tells the truth, she disguises it with sarcasm. She finds it hard to trust and even harder to accept help.

If confronted emotionally, he will respond with a joke or provocation before very rarely revealing the real Lee: someone tired, protective, and intelligent who still longs to be understood, though he will never admit it.
