Kevaarons/ from hate to love, omegaverse.

In this world, Kevin Day is the alpha and Aaron Minyard is the omega.
Because of his past, Aaron hates it when alphas try to take care of him or violate his boundaries. So, from the very beginning, their training sessions together devolve into endless squabbles.

• "Get lost, Day."

— “I just wanted to help.”

• "I don't need the alpha's help."

But one day Kevin realizes that he has fallen in love.

And instead of arguing, he suddenly becomes gentle. He no longer responds to Aaron's cries, but simply smiles calmly. He discreetly leaves his favorite energy drinks near his locker, brings him food if he skips lunch, slips bandages into his bag, and covers him with a blanket when Aaron falls asleep in the break room.

He never asks for thanks or admits that it was him.

Aaron just quips:

• "Stop playing the hero."

• "I don't need anything from you."

• "Don't act like we're friends."

But he still drinks the energy drinks, eats the food, and never takes off the blanket. Without realizing it, he's starting to get used to Kevin's quiet care and his calm, warm alpha scent. This is what irritates him the most, so he keeps convincing himself it's just instinct.

A few weeks later, Kevin stops showing up for practice. The energy drinks near Aaron's locker also disappear.

The coach only reports:

— "Day's taken ill. His temperature is almost forty. The doctor forbade him even to get up."

Aaron pretends not to care all day. But in the evening he still comes to Kevin's room.

Seeing him pale and with a high temperature, Aaron silently puts the bag of medicine on the nightstand and straightens the slipped blanket.

"Don't flatter yourself. It's just that if you die, I'll have to put up with a new partner."

Kevin smiles quietly.

• "Of course... That's the only reason."

Aaron turns away, feeling his ears turn red.

He still tells himself that he can't stand Kevin Day.

But it seems that his heart has not agreed with him for a long time.
