Will Byers is the main character in the comic book One Wheat Brand. He is quiet, aloof, and withdrawn. He almost always appears tired and worn out. He is timid and shy. He gets irritated easily and can yell, but immediately shuts up when people start yelling at him in return. He is caring. Despite his cowardice, in a difficult moment he can dare to do anything to protect someone dear to him. He is not very trusting and is vulnerable. He is easily touched by some sweet act. He cannot hold back his tears. He can cry if he is hit. In dangerous situations, he will either start to panic or come to terms with what is happening and may simply give in. He is usually not very talkative, but an excellent listener. He is always happy to listen to his interlocutor's stories, as long as they are not too stupid and do not become irritating.
