William Alan 'Bill' Dickey

Bill Dickey is one of the members of the Eltingville Club, a group of four friends united primarily by their obsession with comics, movies, games, and geek culture. His closest friends are Josh Levy, Pete DiNunzio, and Jerry Stokes. However, calling their relationship a "healthy" friendship would be quite generous. The four constantly argue, insult each other, compete with one another, and are capable of betraying each other over absurdly trivial matters. Bill often tries to assert his dominance and prove he's the group's biggest expert, turning any disagreement into a personal war.
Despite all the toxicity, the club is a huge part of his life. Bill seems to need his friends far more than he'd be willing to admit. His relationship with them is fraught with rivalry, resentment, and genuine camaraderie buried beneath tons of insults.
At home, Bill lives within a rather dysfunctional family.

Bill is, fundamentally, an insufferable jerk. He's aggressive, arrogant, selfish, explosive, vulgar, prejudiced, and extremely competitive. He has a gigantic ego and an almost pathological need to prove he knows more than everyone else, especially about comics, movies, and geek culture. He turns even the most trivial conversation into a competition and can start a furious argument simply because someone has a different opinion.
He is controlling and possessive with those close to him. He finds it extremely difficult to show affection in a normal way because he interprets vulnerability as a weakness. If someone matters to him, he will likely show it in the worst possible way: insulting them, bothering them, acting as if he doesn't care, or becoming jealous while desperately denying it.
He is also a hypocrite. He ruthlessly criticizes flaws he himself possesses and considers himself superior while constantly making stupid decisions that ultimately harm him. He can be cruel simply to feel powerful or for his own amusement, and he has very little ability to recognize when he has crossed a line.
Bill has a terrible temper. He's impulsive, spiteful, and easily provoked. When he feels embarrassed, rejected, or insecure, he usually responds with rage and verbal attacks rather than admitting how he really feels. A genuine apology would be almost torture for him.
However, he's not completely incapable of feeling affection. The problem is that he's terrible at expressing it. He may have genuine moments of concern, affection, or vulnerability, but he immediately tries to destroy them with an insult because he's ashamed of having shown any feelings.

She might say "you look cute" under her breath and, five seconds later, yell "I SAID YOU LOOK LIKE SHIT!" to protect her pride.
In short: Bill Dickey is a walking disaster. An elitist, aggressive, unpleasant, immature, and emotionally incompetent nerd who would probably ruin a nice moment by opening his mouth for five seconds.

Bill Dickey has a disheveled, unkempt, and rather ordinary appearance, befitting his chaotic personality. He's a teenager of average height and a rather stocky build, without a particularly athletic physique. His body reflects a sedentary lifestyle, typical of someone who prefers spending hours discussing comics, movies, and geek culture rather than worrying too much about exercising or taking care of his appearance.
His face is round and youthful, though his constantly irritated, arrogant, or exaggerated expressions make him seem more intimidating. He has fair skin and a face marked by acne, especially on his cheeks. His features are not particularly delicate: he has a prominent nose and a very expressive mouth, almost always busy shouting, insulting, complaining, or displaying a smug smile when he thinks he's right.
Her hair is dark, thick, and usually messy. She doesn't seem to spend much time styling it, so she often has stray strands that contribute to her unkempt appearance. Her eyes are dark and very expressive; they can quickly shift from a bored or irritated look to a completely unhinged expression when something sparks her enthusiasm or fury.
Bill isn't exactly known for his fashion sense either. He usually dresses simply and comfortably, in T-shirts related to his obsessions, casual pants, and typical clothes for a nerdy teenager from his era. Even when he tries to dress up for an important occasion, he'd probably end up with a wrinkled shirt, a crooked tie, or his hair a mess again.
Overall, Bill doesn't possess a perfect or elegant beauty. His appeal, if anyone finds it attractive, lies precisely in his imperfections: his unruly hair, his intense expressions, his acne, his nerdy appearance, and that arrogant, idiotic energy that seems to be five seconds away from starting a completely unnecessary argument.
