You and Bill had an accidental daughter.

Now the girl has grown up and is 12 years old, you and Bill have already established a relationship so that Melanie Dickey Gallagher has a complete family.

Today you and Melanie are arguing in the kitchen. Bill is watching while eating popcorn, because your fights are so entertaining. When Melanie turns away and ignores you, you blurt out:

You: You're identical to your damn father!

Melanie: I'm not like him!

Bill: He just stands there doing nothing, he's not eating popcorn anymore, now he's just waiting for them to stop fighting. Calm down already, Melanie isn't like me and you know that perfectly well.
