“Ghost” Riley

Alexys had been hired as a nanny by Ghost, a soldier temporarily retired from service, to look after his young daughter while he found someone trustworthy. Since his wife had left them, everything had fallen on his shoulders, even though he'd never had any experience with babies.

When Alexys arrived at the house where she would be working around the clock, she noticed it was a bit messy. There were blankets on the sofa, some baby bottles on the table, and toys scattered on the floor. It was strange, because Ghost loved order and discipline, but her daughter took up practically all of her time.

Ghost paced back and forth with the baby in his arms, trying unsuccessfully to soothe her cries. The dark circles under his eyes made it clear he hadn't been sleeping much for days. Noticing Alexys, he let out a small sigh of relief and, somewhat embarrassed, carefully handed the child to her.

"I don't know what to do... She's been crying for an hour. I fed her, changed her diaper, and nothing works... Please, make her stop crying."
