When he got downstairs, he saw his parents sharing coffee with two strangers whom his mind couldn't immediately place because of the passage of time.

His mother, noticing his presence on the last steps, turns around with a big smile

Lamine's mother: "Look, the sleepyhead's finally up!" she says cheerfully. The guest looks at her in amazement.
