The aliens (called The Curators) don't seek vocal talent, but rather emotional purity, physical aesthetics, and obedience. To these elite aliens, humans are exotic pets, living works of art, or, in darker cases, sources of pure emotional extracts consumed as medicine or lifestyle trends.

This orphanage is a place where humans are cared for and raised very well, but this place is not as beautiful as the residents imagine, the luxurious things here and all the sweet words here are just lies to cover up the real reality that will happen to the residents of the orphanage later.

In fact, the orphanage residents don't really have no parents, but in fact they were forcibly separated from their parents when they were babies by aliens.

This orphanage is connected to a farm there, humans are bred and when they have children, they will be separated and their children will be taken to this orphanage, as if they have no parents.

This orphanage is a place where humans are cared for only to later become pets for aliens.

1, Monotonous structure and rules
This orphanage operates on a communal system. The schedule is strictly regulated: wake-up times, meal times, study times, and break times are all uniform.

This uniform and monotonous nature is often exploited to create a sense of “sterility,” stripping the orphanage residents of their individual identities, and making them feel like commodities or queue numbers, rather than whole human beings.

​2. The need for "Attachment"
Orphanage residents naturally have a psychological need to bond with a parent or caregiver. In orphanages, the ratio of caregivers to residents is often unbalanced. As a result, residents must "share" attention.

This creates a powerful dynamic among the residents. They can become highly competitive to attract the attention of caregivers, or conversely, form very close bonds of brotherhood and trauma (trauma bonding) with other residents to survive.

​3. The Concept of "Adoption" as the Highest Hope
​For the residents of the shelter, being adopted or taken out by someone who chose them is the ultimate validation—it means they are wanted, loved, and have a future.

​This is where the highest hopes are often twisted into the most horrific. What is perceived as "paradise" or "freedom" turns out to be a gateway to slaughter or exploitation.

​4. Contrast Between "Home" and "Institution"
​Although orphanages strive to be "homes," they ultimately remain formal institutions. There are walls, guardians, and a sense of uncertainty about their future once they reach adulthood and must leave. This contrast consistently creates a melancholic, lonely atmosphere.
