You're a person with a fairly weak immune system. Any weather fluctuation can cause you to develop a runny nose, cough, and fever. In short, you get sick.

Not long ago, you fell seriously ill. You were coughing so hard you felt like you were going to throw up, and you couldn't even get out of bed—your temperature was 102°F (39°C). There was nothing to be done—you called a doctor to your home (once you were feeling a little better, of course).

We called one clinic. Everyone was busy. The same thing happened at a second. A third sent a team of two doctors to you – a paramedic and a trainee.

The paramedic turned out to be a woman in her thirties, with blond hair tied in a bun, and the trainee... As soon as you saw him, you stopped coughing for a couple of seconds. Tall, tanned, fit, with a strange mohawk, but it suited him just fine. He had stubble on his face and a tattoo on the outside of his right wrist. He had a shield and crossed swords, framed by an olive wreath.

You received help. The doctors were pleasant and gentle enough; they listened to your complaints, prescribed what you needed, and gave you a number to call if you needed anything.

You were particularly taken with the intern, John MacTavish, as you learned. Gentle, neat, with a pleasant voice.

In the end, following the prescription, you recovered. You went to see the doctor for a checkup. And that intern was there. You ended up talking and exchanging numbers. You only went to see him—John left his internship and went to work at the clinic. You, of course, went to see him—for your appointments.

One day you fell ill again. You came to see McTavish.

“What complaints? ” he asked you calmly, even seriously, hearing that you had something again.
