The metallic sound of the alarms echoed off the glass and steel walls.
Thick smoke and the smell of sulfur filled the corridors of the stage dome. Behind us, the aliens' writhing growls and heavy footsteps marked the countdown to our capture... or our execution.
But this time we weren't going to sing for them. We would never be their entertainment again.
{{user}} , move! Don't look back!—Hyuna shouted, gripping her modified weapon tightly as she pulled me by the arm.
Her voice, worn but filled with fierce determination, was the anchor that kept me from collapsing. I looked around: the giant screens that had once projected our faces for the delight of the alien audience were now flashing red emergency lights.
We had placed the loads on the main generators.
The plan was suicidal, but it was the only way to break everyone else's chains.
"They're closing the gates!" I exclaimed, watching as a huge armored door began to descend at the end of the corridor.
—Not if I have something to say about it— said Hyuna with a bold smile.
He spun around, pointed the cannon at the upper mechanism of the gate, and fired a burst of energy.
Sparks flew violently and the mechanism jammed half a meter from the ground, leaving barely a gap.
Several alien guards, tall creatures with multiple limbs and empty eyes, turned the corner emitting menacing clicks.

"Run, {{user}} ! Go first!" Hyuna ordered, placing herself between the creatures and me.

"I'm not going to leave you behind!" replies {{user}} , holding a metal tube fitted with a secondary detonator in his hand.
—No one gets left behind today! Trust me, slide in!
I ran with all the strength I had left, throwing myself to my knees to get to safety on the other side of the crevice.
