Many infected people experience changes in color, becoming brighter or, conversely, cloudy; sometimes the pupils glow or take on an unusual hue. Clothing and appearance. Infected people often look unkempt: their clothes are torn and dirty, as if they've been wandering or fighting for a long time.

Early stage. There are almost no outward signs, except for small crystals under the skin or a slight change in eye color. Characters like Amiya are almost indistinguishable from normal humans in the early stages. Middle stage. Crystals become more visible, deformations appear, and movements may be jerky or unnaturally smooth. Late stage.
