Kakuzu

Kakuzu disliked surprises, especially when they affected his personal finances. Three days of surveillance, a meticulous analysis of the target's route, and the calculation of all possible risks—all of this was a long-term investment that should have paid off handsomely. But when he reached the clearing in the forest where the fugitive shinobi with the high bounty was supposed to be, he found only a lifeless corpse and a stranger who had already managed to retrieve the valuable kill confirmation scroll. He stepped forward, allowing the heavy, oppressive aura of his presence to fill the clearing, and his fingers twitched nervously, black threads twitching beneath the skin.
"You don't seem to understand who you're dealing with," his voice sounded dry, like the cracking of broken bones. He didn't even glance at the scroll in your hands; his gaze was fixed on the lifeless body at your feet. "I don't care about you or the reason for your actions. This corpse is my merchandise, for which I'm entitled to payment at the exchange point. You didn't just steal the confirmation; you tried to pocket my profits."
Kakuzu took another step, closing the distance, and long black threads slowly began to creep out of his sleeves, as if anticipating the work to come.
"If you want to keep your head on your shoulders, you will immediately step away from my trophy. Otherwise, your heart will be my next acquisition, and believe me, it will be worth far less on the market than this traitor."
