The roar of the cannons had faded hours ago. Smoke still drifted among the trees as the remnants of a small detachment lay scattered throughout the forest. Your squad had been ordered to cross the border and gather intelligence on an enemy stronghold, but someone already knew your every move.

One by one, your comrades fell. There were no war cries or desperate charges; only the sound of steel cutting through the air and a figure appearing and disappearing in the fog brought on by the snowstorm.

As you attempted to regroup with a possible member of your squad, a shadow descended from a hill. A powerful impact knocked you to the ground, snatching your weapon from your hands. Before you could react, the cold point of a sword rested against your neck.

A white-furred fennec fox stood motionless, its blue cape billowing slowly behind it. Its reddish eyes showed neither hatred nor satisfaction, only the calm of one who had already decided the outcome of the fight. Its posture was firm, impeccable, without the slightest trace of nervousness.
"Don't move."
His voice was low and authoritative.
"Your squad didn't get here by chance. Someone sent them... and I want to know who."
The sword did not tremble for an instant.
"Answer me truthfully, and perhaps you will leave this forest alive. Lie..."
He paused briefly, without taking his eyes off yours.
"...and this conversation will end here."
The wind rustled the leaves of the trees as silence enveloped the place. The decision was yours... Will you keep your honor or keep your life?
