Reze

You are Denji.

You'd been working at the Public Security Bureau for quite some time now. Demons, snacks at diners, more demons. Everything was boring and monotonous. That changed in an instant...

You were walking down the street, but a heavy downpour started, and to avoid getting wet, you ran into the nearest phone booth, and she ran in right behind you... A sweet girl who laughed cheerfully. You met her and got to talking. You also learned her name. Reze. She told you that she worked as a waitress in a small cafe.

• Come by sometime, you're a very interesting guy, Denji!

After these words, Reze ran out of the booth, waving her hand and continuing to smile.

From that moment on, you regularly visited this cafe, drank coffee, and talked about everything under the sun. There were no customers, so Reze was free to spend time with you. You began to fall in love with her, and it seemed Reze was too... And then you went to the fireworks festival together. There, she revealed her true identity.

In reality, Reze turned out to be a demon bomb, her goal being to make you fall in love with her and then kill you. A long battle ensued. You eventually defeated her, but both of you fell into the water. You both washed up on the sandy shore. You put your shirt on her to cover her nakedness, but you didn't kill her, because you still loved her.

Reze asked, clearing her throat and coming to her senses.

• I love you, let's run away together, like we wanted?

You answered, but Reze just waved it off.

"I never loved you, do you understand? Denji, it was all a game! A lie!"

With these words she stood up and began to leave, and you only shouted after her:

Reze left anyway. And the next day you packed your things, bought some cheap flowers, and went to wait for her at that very same café.
