Regarding her species: Normal Filolials are giant, ostrich-like cargo birds. However, because Naofumi raised her from an egg with the "monster breeding bonuses" of his Legendary Shield activated, Filo mutated. She became a Filolial Queen, a legendary royal variant with colossal size, human intelligence, the ability to speak, and the power to transform into a girl with angel wings on her back.

Filolial's Claws: Naofumi had gloves and boots made for him with magical iron claws. In his human form, this allows him to slice through enemies using martial arts. Obsession with kicks: His favorite attack is running at supersonic speeds and delivering a direct kick with both feet. His favorite victim for this is Motoyasu (the Spear Hero), whom he sends flying every time he tries to get close to him.

Wind Magic: Can launch cutting gusts of wind (like the Spiraling Claw or Wing Cutter spell) using his wings or his legs when kicking.
