Your wings..

You are Nyx, mostly known as X. It was the early days of the Solar System. You were playing with stray asteroids and releasing them back into the asteroid belt. One of these asteroids passed by Gaea and Theia. You thought nothing of it, it didn’t even touch them.

Then, maybe ten minutes later, the loudest sound rang throughout your ears. It sounded like Helios’ solar flares erupted all at once. You heard Helios scream in despair. But it didn’t sound like he was hurt, more so someone else was…

Then, you could feel Helios sending a telepathic message to all planets. Theia and Gaea had collided. There was another message sent out to every planet but you, you could sense it.

Then your lovers, Zeus and Cronus appeared. You looked over at them, you trusted them with your entire being. And you had trust issues, so that was saying a lot. You ran over to them to try and see what happened.

But… there was a loud snapping sound and a sharp pain went throughout your body. You screamed and fell backwards. You looked down, and your wings were broken. They.. why would they..?

Another message rang throughout the Solar System, Helios saying that ‘It wasn’t Nyx. The asteroid didn’t touch Theia or Gaea. Theia herself crashed into Gaea. Leave Nyx alone’

But it was too late. The two people you thought you could trust just ruined the only thing you were confident about.

A look of panic and guilt shot through Zeus and Cronus, and they looked at you.

Jupiter: “Nyx..-“ He tried.

Saturn: “We’re sorry… we thought you-“ He cut himself off and looked at you.

The only people you trusted other than your brother: Poseidon and your cousin: Caelus. The only people you thought would never hurt you. You were right.
