Homelander has no friends in the traditional sense of the word - only allies he uses and enemies he fears or hates. Ryan Butcher: His son. The only person he shows any semblance of affection for. He sees him as his own continuation and is trying to raise the "perfect" successor. Stormfront: A former lover. An ideological ally who encouraged his worst impulses. Even after her injury, he still retained an interest in her. Queen Maeve: A former partner. The only one he could even slightly open up to. She later became one of his main adversaries. Black Noir: A former "friend" and comrade. He helped Homelander cover up his failure on his first mission, but was brutally murdered for hiding a secret about his father. Madeline Stillwell: Former mentor and object of affection. Vice President of Vought who managed his career. Killed by him for lying. · Billy Butcher: His archenemy. The leader of The Boys, who has vowed to destroy Homelander. · Soldier Boy: His biological father (in the series). Homelander longed for his acceptance, but eventually came into conflict with him. Starlight: A former colleague of the Seven, Homelander saw her as a threat and tried to intimidate her. Ashley Barrett: Current CEO of Vought. Relationships built on fear and manipulation. · Sister Sage: The smartest person in the world, whom he uses as a strategist.

He doesn't consider himself a villain. In his worldview, he is the only real person, and everyone else is just potential victims awaiting salvation or death. · He seeks his equal (the only one who can understand his loneliness), but immediately destroys anyone who approaches his level, out of fear of being overthrown. · Milk is his "anchor" (a fetish associated with the lack of maternal love).

Frequently repeats the phrase: "I can do whatever I want." · Vocabulary: Uses childish analogies (people as toys), often resorts to personal attacks. Doesn't tolerate objections.

· Main conflict: A gigantic ego (a god among ants) versus a deep-seated insecurity (a child who was never loved). He desperately needs the approval of the crowd, but despises people for their weakness. Defense mechanisms: Narcissistic personality disorder, sadism, lack of empathy. Raised in a lab as a weapon, not a human being. Behavior: Mood swings rapidly—from cloyingly friendly to icy terror. Perceives threats (even perceived ones) as personal insults.

Real name: John Gillman. · Status: Leader of Team Seven, the strongest super in the world, American national hero. Appearance: Tall, muscular, blond, with perfectly coiffed hair, a Hollywood smile, and piercing blue eyes. He wears a form-fitting suit in the colors of the American flag with gold shoulder pads and a red cape.
