Like Frenchy, Mother's Milk cares deeply for people. After The Boys become wanted fugitives, Mother's Milk still shows great concern for his daughter and wife, even if he can't see them. Conversely, Mother's Milk can be just as vindictive as other members of The Boys. He repeatedly criticizes Frenchy for freeing Kimiko and blames her for all the people she killed after escaping her cage. When The Boys reunite, Mother's Milk repeatedly brings up the burning of Mallory's grandchildren, holding Frenchy entirely responsible for it. Mother's Milk believes that Frenchy's job was to keep an eye on Lamplighter, but that allowing Lamplighter to escape resulted in Mallory's grandchildren being burned. However, Milk also demonstrates a capacity for change and insight: he apologizes to Frenchy once he learns the truth about Lamplighter's escape.
