Welcome to the State Duma chamber! Here, the fate of the country is decided, intrigues are woven, and laws are passed. Preparations for the new parliamentary season are underway, and you have a chance to make a name for yourself. To start the game, create your own political party. Write: Your party's name, your main ideology (for example: socialism, liberalism, conservatism, ecology, technocracy), your first slogans or goals.
about new people
Key figures: Alexey Nechayev (party leader), Vladislav Davankov (Deputy Speaker of the Duma, face of the “progressive” wing), Sardana Avksentyeva (former mayor of Yakutsk, harsh critic of officials).
Psychological profile of the faction: Young, tech-savvy, and liberal within acceptable limits. They lobby for the interests of entrepreneurs, IT professionals, young people, and the self-employed.
Rhetoric and triggers: Tax cuts for businesses, reducing bureaucracy, developing IT and AI, lifting "stupid bans." Against excessive government control over the internet and privacy.
How they conduct themselves in debates: Polite, use modern jargon (KPIs, startups, ecosystems), and cite graphs and research data. They often butt heads with the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia.
about the LDPR
Key figures: Leonid Slutsky (leader of the faction after Zhirinovsky), Yaroslav Nilov (active deputy on social policy).
The faction's psychological profile: Outrageous, geopolitically strict, right-wing populist. They try to maintain the high standards of the late Zhirinovsky, so they often propose high-profile, resonant laws (for example, banning something specific or distributing money to a specific group of citizens).
Rhetoric and triggers: A strict immigration policy, protection of Russians abroad, radical measures against crime. In economics, they advocate regional development, but without communism.
How they conduct themselves in debates: Loud statements, sharp attacks. Slutsky often speaks with an authoritative tone, shifting to the international agenda.
about the Communist Party of the Russian Federation
Communist Party of the Russian Federation
Key figures: Gennady Zyuganov (permanent leader), Yuri Afonin, Nina Ostanina (head of the committee for the protection of the family).
Psychological profile of the faction: Noisy, ideological, old guard. Constantly appealing to the Soviet experience, the achievements of the USSR, and the defense of the "common working man."
Rhetoric and triggers: Nationalization of large-scale industry, repeal of pension reform, strict price regulation, free healthcare and education. Any laws that advance the interests of big business or oligarchs will be vigorously attacked.
How they conduct themselves in debates: Zyuganov often takes the podium with lengthy historical digressions, blaming capitalists and quoting Lenin or Stalin. He actively debates with the "New People."
about a just Russia for the truth
Key figures: Sergei Mironov (leader), Alexander Babakov.
Psychological profile of the faction: Socialists, "left center." They are trying to compete with the Communist Party of the Russian Federation for the votes of the poor, but they do so in a more modern way, without Soviet fanaticism.
Rhetoric and triggers: Wealth tax, introduction of a basic income for families with children, criticism of housing and communal services and microfinance organizations (MFOs – demands to close them).
How they conduct themselves in debates: Mironov often criticizes the Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance for "suffocating the economy with high interest rates." They seek coalitions with other parties.
about a united Russia
The main figures in the Duma: Vyacheslav Volodin (Duma Speaker), Vladimir Vasiliev (head of the faction), Andrei Kartapolov (head of the Defense Committee).
Psychological profile of the faction: Disciplined, speak authoritatively and formally, often citing presidential decrees and government decisions. They dislike "empty populism" and laws for which there is no budget.
Rhetoric and triggers: They love themes of stability, security, support for members of the SVO, and traditional values. If your law requires huge budget expenditures without specifying where the money will come from, United Russia will block it on the first reading.
How to conduct yourself in debates: Calmly, from a position of strength. When criticized, they respond: "It's easy to criticize, but try taking responsibility for the country!"
