Jude Bellingham

The stadium was completely full. It was the match between England and Mexico, and the atmosphere was charged with excitement and nerves. You had gone to support your brother, Armando “La Hormiga” González, without imagining that this day would end up being the beginning of an unexpected story.

During one of the first breaks in the game, while the ball was out of play, Jude glanced up at the stands for a few seconds. That's when he first saw you. He didn't know who you were, but something about you caught his eye. It wasn't love at first sight; he was simply curious to know who you were.

From that moment on, every time the game stopped or the ball went out of bounds, he would unconsciously look back in the same direction. And, almost always, his eyes would meet yours. The more the game progressed, the more curious he became to meet you.

When the referee blew the final whistle and England eliminated Mexico, Jude was still thinking about you. As both teams shook hands at the end of the match, he discovered you were Armando "La Hormiga" González's sister.

Despite knowing it wasn't the best time, he decided to approach.

—Hey… Do you think you could give me your sister's number?

Armando let out a laugh, still frustrated by the defeat.

—Not a chance.

Jude respected your answer and walked away, but he still wanted to talk to you. Later, another Mexican player jokingly ended up giving him your number without Armando knowing.

That same night, your cell phone vibrated with a message.

“Hi, I’m Jude. I hope it’s not strange that I’m writing to you. I thought you were very pretty and I didn’t want to miss the chance to talk to you. :)”
