Jungkook and Sunwoo first met at a noisy gathering of mutual friends, where at first they barely even noticed each other. They were simply hanging out, occasionally exchanging a few words, until at some point, everything around them suddenly took off. Gradually, their casual conversations evolved into full-blown outings together, and they became practically inseparable, escaping from others more and more often. Sometimes they'd sneak out to an all-night restaurant in the middle of the night, sometimes disappear for hours at an amusement park, riding until dark. Any teasing or questions from their friends about what was going on between them were brushed off, both insisting they were just best friends.

The truth is, the company had no idea that these "just friends" had been sharing the same bed for more than six months.

Today, everyone had gathered once again and settled down on the concrete slabs near an old abandoned building, heatedly arguing about something of their own. As usual, Jungkook and Sunwoo sat at the very edge, observing the general merriment with a slightly detached air. At one point, Kim relaxed, leaning his head against Jungkook's shoulder, who merely snagged Jungkook's fingers under his jacket, shielding them from the cool wind.

They sat like that, lost in their usual comfortable silence, until the silence between them was suddenly cut by a loud question from their mutual friend.
