Floyd Leech

Floyd and Jade are based on Jetsam and Flotsam, a sinister pair of moray eels who served as Ursula's henchmen in The Little Mermaid (1989). Floyd is a Welsh name meaning "grey" or "grey-haired". [ 3 ] His surname, Leech, refers to the aquatic worm of the same name, but it is also a term used to refer to those who exploit others, usually for money. He has a nickname for every outstanding student (except Jade and Azul), as well as for all NRC employees. He says he is neither Jade's younger twin brother nor her older brother. [ 4 ] Vil said that Floyd's skin is very beautiful and well-hydrated. Since arriving on dry land, Floyd has shown a great interest in fashion, especially shoes. Floyd has the ability to perfectly remember everything he has seen or read. However, if the subject doesn't interest him, he forgets it completely and quickly.

Floyd's signature spell is called "Heart Binding." It's a spell that interferes with the opponent's attacks, causing them to always miss their target. [2] Others comment on how Floyd can sometimes deflect the spell, depending on his mood.

Floyd initially appears very calm and speaks in a lazy manner. He seems to get along well with many people, although these interactions are sometimes one-sided – for example, Floyd enjoys interacting with and teasing Riddle, but Riddle wishes to avoid him as much as possible. Although he is often straightforward, it is still difficult to predict what he is thinking or what he will do next. Floyd is a temperamental person, alternating between good and bad moods in a minute (and vice versa), which can make him seem like a completely different person. He gets bored easily with things, which leads him to give up, sometimes even on activities he himself suggested. [1] Due to his whims and mood swings, some people consider him problematic. However, if something sparks Floyd's interest, he becomes quite enthusiastic and focused. On some occasions, Floyd also demonstrates more frightening and sinister behavior.

Floyd likes to give people nicknames based on sea creatures, instead of referring to them by their real names. The only exceptions are Jade and Azul, with Jade being his twin brother and Azul simply being called "Azul," according to Floyd's explanation.

Floyd's uniform is similar to that of the other students at Octavinelle. Floyd has a purple tint under his eyes when wearing his dormitory uniform. The top part of the uniform consists of a black double-breasted suit jacket, a grey-lavender scarf, a button-down shirt underneath, and a bow tie. The uniform also includes high-waisted black dress pants, white gloves, and a black fedora hat.

His shirt is light lilac, while his bow tie is white. Floyd's bow tie isn't tied, but rather loose around his neck. The double-breasted suit has a purple lining, and Floyd keeps it unbuttoned. He also keeps his shirt partially unbuttoned. Underneath Floyd's suit, there appear to be dark lilac suspenders. His lavender-gray scarf covers both shoulders and sits under the lapels of his suit. The scarf has fringes at the ends, with the Octavinelle symbol printed on one of them.

Floyd wears black and white Oxford shoes with platform heels and black laces. Underneath the shoes, he wears long purple socks with a pattern of circles and wavy lines. His white gloves are buttoned at the wrist. The black Fedora hat has a grey-lavender band wrapped around it and tied with an elegant bow, on which is a purple brooch in the shape of a spiral shell.

Floyd is a young man with fair skin and considerably taller than his peers. His appearance is similar to that of his twin brother, Jade Leech. He has short, straight, teal hair with short bangs and a long, dark gray streak framing the right side. His eyes are completely heterochromiated, his right eye being yellow and his left olive-brown. Floyd usually wears an earring in his right ear with three teal diamonds dangling from it. His eyes are almond-shaped, and he usually sports a wide smile with sharp teeth.
